Music, Mixes and Mayhem
My niece is staying with me this weekend, and that means we're downloading music (I'm Uncle Broadband) and burning mix CD's. It's her first weekend with me since Morpheus became just another gnutella client with too much spyware, so most of our file chasing has been through FTP sites and Audiogalaxy. She's learning to embrace the mix songs shared on sites like Boom Selection, and in a way, so am I. Anything that mixes Missy Elliot and Nirvana can't be too bad, and in some ways it brings us all a little closer together.
