This Week's Interesting CD & DVD Releases
A bounty of interesting music releases usher in the first week of fall. I can recommend Adem's Love and Other Planets, Cale Parks' debut solo album, Illuminated, Horse Feathers' Words Are Dead, Megan Palmer's Forget Me Not, and Wolf Eyes' Human Animal. I'll be searching out a good price on the Tori Amos box set, The Collection, for my wife tomorrow, as well as the Farmer Jason (Jason Ringenberg of Jason and the Scorchers) children's discs, A Day at the Farm With Farmer Jason and Rockin' in the Forest With Farmer Jason for my young nieces.
I have added free and legal mp3 downloads to the list, look for more every week as I integrate this feature into the weekly release lists.
A trio of documentaries with politcal focus made up my DVD preorders: Iraq for Sale: The War Profiteers, Waging a Living, and The Education of Shelby Knox.
