This Week's Interesting CD & DVD Releases

There may not be a diamond in this week's music releases, but there are many other gems. The Andy Partridge Fuzzy Warbles Collector's Box Set would make a great holiday gift for any pop (or XTC) fan, myself included. I pre-ordered the new Be Good Tanyas and Gothic Archies discs, as well as the new Lloyd Cole album, Anti Depressant.

Of the releases I already have, I can recommend the spectacular Chavez three-disc collection, Better Days Will Haunt You, Chin Up Chin Up's This Harness Can't Ride Anything, Pit Er Pat's Pyramids, Micah P. Hinson's Micah P. Hinson And The Opera Circuit, and Robert Pollard's Normal Happiness (the first Pollard release I can actually recommend in years).
