This Week's Interesting DVD Releases
It's a good week to be a Shakespeare fan, with no less than four film adaptations of his plays released to DVD:
A Midsummer Night's Dream (1935)
Othello (1965)
Romeo and Juliet (1936)
William Shakespeare's Hamlet (Two-Disc Special Edition)
Most interesting to me are the two Criterion Collection releases (Cria Cuervos and The First Films of Samuel Fuller) and Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters.
The music DVD releases are spare this week, led by Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds: Live at Radio City Music Hall and Elvis: The Mini-Series, not to mention David Bowie's appearance in Labrynth.
