This Week's Interesting DVD Releases
Television DVDs out this week include the the second season of My Name Is Earl, fifth season of Trailer Park Boys, the ninth season of King of Queens, the 1977 BBC mini-series Count Dracula, and the third season of Num3rs.
Notable feature films include the Seth Rogan comedy Knocked Up, Rolf de Heer's Ten Canoes, and Plagues and Pleasures on the Salton Sea (narrated by John Waters).
Among music DVDs, Pearl Jam's Immagine in Cornice combines concert footage with documentary film, and Queen's London takes you to the haunts of Freddie Mercury and company. For camp factor alone, Twisted Sister's A Twisted Christmas Live should enliven your holidays. Other music discs out this week include Willie Nelson - Last of the Breed, U2 Dublin, and Tom Verlaine and Jimmy Rip: Music for Experimental Film.
