This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (September 16th, 2008)

Just when I finish The Wire's final season and am caught up on my must-see episodic television, the second season of Torchwood is released. With a third season confirmed (a five-part miniseries on BBC One), the BBC science fiction show is probably my favorite serial show on television today.

A slew of other television releases are out this week as well, including the third season of Criminal Minds, the first season of Pushing Daisies, and the eighth season of Will & Grace (along with the entire series).

Finally on DVD, Duckman - Seasons One & Two is lowbrow comedic genius (or just lowbrow, if you ask my wife).

Feature films released this week include Al Pacino's 88 Minutes, Speed Racer, and Snow Angels.
