This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (November 11th, 2008)
The long-awaited Flaming Lips film, Christmas On Mars, is released on DVD tomorrow. I didn't catch it during the film's limited release, and will probably spend the day watching the film and listening to the soundtrack.
In another feature film DVD release, Ron Perlman returns as Hellboy in the superhero sequel Hellboy II.
Among the television releases, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will make a great gift for Star Wars fans. The seventh season of Scrubs and the criminally underrated first season of Tracey Ullman's State of the Union are also available.
If you prefer to buy or view your television series all at once, complete seasons of Firefly (finally in Blu-ray), I Dream of Jeannie, Little House on the Prairie, and The Sopranos are all out tomorrow.
The documentary Planet B-Boy is a fascinating look into international b-boy culture.
