This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (February 24th, 2009)
The fourth and final direct-to-video Futurama feature film, Into the Future hits store shelves tomorrow.
Other feature films out February 24th include Ironweed's DVD debut (starring Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep) and Dario Argento's Four Flies on Grey Velvet.
The true-crime documentary Dear Zachary:A Letter to a Son About His Father is an incredibly gripping documentary that I can't recommend enough.
Among the television releases, I can only truly recommend the complete first season (all 7 episodes) of the comedy Breaking Bad, a comedy which featured Malcolm in the Middle father Bryan Cranston as a chemistry teacher turned criminal.
Flesh out your Blu-ray DVD collection with the classics The French Connection and French Connection 2 (Blu-ray).
Live music performances by B.B. King, The Blind Boys of Alabama, the Kaiser Chiefs, The Who, and Xiu Xiu are also in stores tomorrow.
What can you recommend buying or adding to the Netflix queue from this week's DVD releases? I am especially looking for documentary suggestions, one of my New Year's resolutions was to watch more quality documentary films this year.
