This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (April 7th, 2009)
The Arcade Fire concert film, Miroir Noir hits stores tomorrow, but you can stream the film this week at Pitchfork.tv.
13 Most Beautiful... Songs for Andy Warhol Screen Tests is the first DVD release of Andy Warhol's short films, and features a soundtrack scored by Dean Wareham and Britta Phillips.
MTV's Britney Spears' documentary, Britney: For the Record, is also out tomorrow.
Tales of Ordinary Madness is based on Charles Bukowski's short stories, and features Ben Gazzara as a skid row poet.
Live and Become follows the struggles of Ethiopian Jews as they flee to Sudanese refugee camps.
Other feature films of note out this week include Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman in Doubt, Aleksandr Sokurov's Alexandra, and Bricktown.
The first season of The Paper Chase, the classic law school drama, arrives on store shelves tomorrow, as do DVD reissues of the complete Felicity and Alias series.
