This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (May 19th, 2009)
The first season of HBO's vampire drama, True Blood, hits store shelves tomorrow (and will be in my DVD player tomorrow evening).
Other television series out this week include the the third season of Friday Night Lights, seventh season of 24 William Shatner's reality show, Invasion Iowa, along with several 2-season packages from 30 Rock, The Office, Monk, House, and other series.
Among the new feature film DVDs, I am looking forward most to Fanboys, a comedy centering around Star Wars fandom. One of the few Westerns I truly love, The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, is also out tomorrow on DVD.
Among the week's Blu-ray offerings, the T2 Complete Collector's Set Endoskull (packaged in a silver skull) stands out with its unique box.
