This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (August 18th, 2009)
Television series dominate this week's relatively short DVD release list, with the twelfth season of The Simpsons at the top of my shopping list.
Other television releases this week include Dexter: The Complete Third Season and Gossip Girl: The Complete Second Season
James Toback's gripping Mike Tyson documentary, Tyson was one of the most impressive films I saw last year.
A friend just vehemently recommended Final Destination yesterday, so I will definitely be renting the two-DVD Final Destination Collection this week. I am also looking forward to watching Tilda Swinton's portrayal of an alcoholic woman's turn to crime in Julia.
The Last Starfighter 25th Anniversary Edition will make a fine addition to my Blu-ray collection.
