This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (December 1st, 2009)
In a slim week for DVD releases, the highlight for me is the Criterion Collection's release of Arnaud Desplechin's A Christmas Tale, a wonderfully layered tale starring Catherine Deneuve.
Other theatrical film releases include Paper Heart and Terminator Salvation.
Highlights of the week's television releases include the fifth season of Saturday Night Live and the first season of Mental.
Blu-ray releases this week include a Criterion Collection tratment of the Rolling Stones' classic concert film Gimme Shelter, The Green Mile, and Gremlins.
