This Week's Interesting DVD Releases (February 23, 2010)
The uncensored season one of MTV's Jersey Shore is on store shelves tomorrow, and includes deleted scenes, the reunion special, and more bonus content.
Other television releases out tomorrow include the sixth season of Project Runway, FlashForward: Season One Pt.1, and the one I am most aticipating, the first season of Edie Falco in Nurse Jackie.
I am looking forward to the two Criterion Collection films, Make Way for Tomorrow and especially Howards End.
Theatrical films out this week also include The Damned United, adapted from David Peace's novel of the same name.
Eclipse Series 20 collects four film adaptations of George Bernard Shaw works (Major Barbara, Caesar and Cleopatra, and Androcles and the Lion). Orson Welles - Legend Collection features six of the legendary director's films in one box set.
Electric Purgatory: The Fate of the Black Rocker is a documentary that highlights the struggles of musicians of color in today's music industry.
The Japanese yakuza film Ichi the Killer and the wacky Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead both are out in Blu-ray editions tomorrow.
