This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - June 1, 2010
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland is a visual delight, and is in stores tomorrow.
My personal favorite film released on DVD this week is the Chilean drama Tony Manero, in which a thug becomes obsessed with John Travolta's character in Saturday Night Fever.
The highlight's of the week's television DVD releases are the animated Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Vol. 7, the fifth season of Denis Leary's Rescue Me, and the third season of Burn Notice.
Blu-ray releases this week are spearheaded by the Clint Eastwood Collection, which collects 10 of the celebrated actor/director's films (Absolute Power, Dirty Harry, Gran Torino, Kelly's Heroes, Letters from Iwo Jima, Million Dollar Baby, Mystic River, The Rookie, Unforgiven, Where Eagles Dare).
