This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - June 22, 2010
The sixth season of HBO's Entourage is in stores tomorrow.
The only other television DVD I can recommend this week is Ice Cube's Straight Outta LA (part of ESPN's excellent 30 for 30 series), a documentary about the Oakland Raiders.
The Criterion Collection releases two noteworthy films this week, Abbas Kiarostami's Close-Up and Michelangelo Antonioni's Red Desert.
Other feature films arriving on store and rental shelves tomorrow include the dark comedy The Maid and the exquisitely acted The Last Station.
Fuel is a documentary that examines our dependence on fossil fuels and offers options for sustainable energy future.
The Judy Garland version of A Star Is Born and Tromeo and Juliet are both available in Blu-ray format this week.
