This Week's Interesting Music Releases - July 27, 2010
Paste called Best Coast's Crazy for You "the soundtrack of being young, in love and in the sun" and I have to agree, this is an album that begs to be enjoyed all summer long.
In a relatively slow summer music release week, other new albums I can strongly recommend include Dean & Britta's 13 Most Beautiful… Songs for Andy Warhol's Screen Tests, Futurebirds' Hampton's Lullaby, Jesca Hoop's Hunting My Dress, and Menomena's best album yet, Mines.
If I had a child, I would definitely be picking up Pete Seeger's kids album, Tomorrow's Children.
The reissue list is also weak, with nine Kinks CDs the lone highlight.
