This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - August 24, 2010
Lost: The Complete Sixth and Final Season (also on Blu-ray) is in stores tomorrow. In my personal quest to become as digital as possible, I don't pick up nearly as many television DVDs as I used to, but I am tempted by the 38-disc Lost: The Complete Collection (also available in Blu-ray format).
Other television series available tomorrow include 90210: The Complete Second Season, Gossip Girl: The Complete Third Season, NCIS: Season Seven, and The Simpsons: The 13th Season.
This week the Criterion Collection releases Three Silent Classics By Josef Von Sternberg (Underworld / Last Command / Docks of New York).
Chuck Close is a documentary about the legendary portrait artist.
Blu-ray releases of note include Terry Gilliam's Time Bandits and the 30th anniversary edition of Shogun Assassin
