This Week's Interesting Music Releases - September 7, 2010
Today NPR compared next Tuesday's batch of music releases to Super Tuesday, so I guess this week's list is like the Maine Republican primary (less crowded and due to get less publicity, but still important).
Interpol releases its self-titled and long-awaited fourth album tomorrow, easily the highlight for me among the week's new music.
77 Boadrum captures the Boredom's epic 2007 77-drummer Brooklyn performance.
Both Antony & the Johnsons' Thank You for Your Love EP and Holy Ghost's Static on the Wire EP are available on CD after being out digitally for a while.
From what has already been sent my way, I can definitely recommend Jukebox The Ghost's Everything Under the Sun, Sea and Cake frontman Sam Prekop's Old Punch Card, The Thermals' Personal Life, and especially the poptacular Winter Gloves' All Red.
Along with the new self-titled album, Interpol tomorrow reissues vinyl editions of Turn On The Bright Lights and Antics.
