This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - April 19, 2011
The historical drama The King's Speech is this week's marquee DVD release.
Other theatrical releases in stores tomorrow include Rabbit Hole, the film adaptation of David Lindsay-Abaire's play, and the Criterion Collection edition of Ken Loach's Kes.
Three documentaries are worth especially worth watching. If God Is Willing and da Creek Don't Rise is Spike Lee's sequel to his When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Acts HBO documentary, Little Man chronicles the young life of a one pound premature baby, and Jews and Baseball: An American Love Story offers a history of Jewish players in the game.
A thin week for television releases includes the animated American Dad!, Vol. 6.
Blu-ray releases are highlighted by the Criterion Collection's edition of Jane Campion's Sweetie
