This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - May 31st, 2011
The third season of the vampire series True Blood is out this week.
Other television series in stores tomorrow include Psych: The Complete Fifth Season, the BBC's adaptation of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and The Fabulous Beekman Boys.
The feature film I am most looking forward to is Biutiful. Stanley Kubrick: The Essential Collection (also available on Blu-ray collects eight of the legendary director's films (Spartacus, Lolita, Dr. Strangelove, 2001: A Space Odyssey, A Clockwork Orange, Barry Lyndon, The Shining, and Full Metal Jacket).
The documentary Girls on the Wall chronicles women inmates who create a musical based on their lives.
Three notable concert videos are released tomorrow: MusiCares Tribute to Neil Young, Water on the Road: Eddie Vedder Live, and David Byrne: Ride Rise Roar
Shore up your Blu-ray libraries with Once Upon a Time in the West, Lolita, and A Man Called Horse.
