This Week's Interesting Music Releases - June 21st, 2011

Candidate Waltz is yet another strong album from Centro-matic and its underrated songwriter Will Johnson.

Bon Iver's self-titled sophomore album is also in stores tomorrow.

Laura Cantrell's Kitty Wells Dresses: Songs of the Queen of Country Music combines a stunning new original song alongside Kitty Wells covers to truly capture the spirit of Wells' songwriting.

From what has already crossed my path, I can also recommend Bodies of Water's Twist Again, Seun Kuti's From Africa With Fury: Rise, Through the Sparks' Almanac (MMX) Year of Beasts, Ty Segall's Goodbye Bread, and Viva Voce's The Future Will Destroy You

Remastered editions of two Peter Tosh albums, Equal Rights & Legalize It (both with bonus CDs) and Suede's Coming Up (with bonus CD & DVD) are the highlighte sof the week's reissues, along with vinyl remastered editions of three Nickel Creek albums (Nickel Creek, This Side, Why Should the Fire Die) and a vinyl reissue of Sugar's Copper Blue.
