This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - June 28, 2011
The Criterion Collection releases three films tomorrow: Louis Malle's Zazie dans le metro and Black Moon and Robert Siodmak's People on Sunday.
Other theatrical releases this week include Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch.
Three documentaries caugt my eye this week. Make profiles four self-taught artists, Typeface examines the convergence between old school and modern typography, and An Inconvenient Tax critiques the United States tax system.
The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy contains the extended editions of all the series' films in Blu-ray formast.
A highlight of the television releases is the BBC's Christopher & His Kind, which is based on Christopher Isherwoods' memoir of the same name.
