This Week's Interesting DVD Releases - November 29th, 2011
Werner Herzog's cave painting documentary Cave of Forgotten Dreams is in stores this week.
Other theatrical features include Miranda July's The Future.
The Criterion Collection's Eclipse Series 30: Sabu! features three films by Zoltan Kurda (Elephant Boy, The Drum, Jungle Book).
Two documentaries I will surely seek out are Sons of Perdition, which tells the story of three young men banished from Warren Jeffs' souther Utah polygamous community, and Reel Injun, which examines Hollywood's depiction of Native Americans over the years.
Adele Live At The Royal Albert Hall captures a live performance by the singer-songwriter.
The two television highlights are 30 Rock: Season 5 and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations Collection 6/Part 1
The Six Million Dollar Man: Season 1 collects both the pilot TV movies and the action adventure series' first season. Also available is Smallville: The Complete Series and series' tenth season.
