This Week's Interesting Music Releases - January 3rd, 2012
Three singles are the new music highlights this week, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' If I Had a Gun, Bat for Lashes' A Forest (For Invisible Children), and Bright Eyes' We Are Gonna Be Friends (which features First Aid Kit).
The only new album I am considering is The Unthanks' Songs of Robert Wyatt and Antony & The Johnsons, but I can wait for its U.S. release on February 7th.
Skam reissues the 1991 debut by Lego Feet (aka Autechre) in a remastered edition with two bonus tracks. Thanks to culture blog The Contextual Life for the heads up.
