This Week's Interesting Music Releases - February 21st, 2012
Grimes' Visions is Claire Boucher's most solid release yet, an easy addition to my shortlist of "albums of the year" for 2012.
Of the week's other releases, I can definitely also recommend Cursive: I Am Gemini, Frankie Rose's Interstellar, Jim White's Where It Hits You, Josh Ritter's Bringing in the Darlings EP, Lambchop's Mr. M, Leland Sundries' The Foundry EP, Perfume Genius's Put Your Back N 2 It, and Sleigh Bells' Reign of Terror.
The remastered edition of Archers of Loaf's Vee Vee includes a CD of rarities and b-sides, and three Pulp reissues (Freaks, It, and Separations ) are also in stores tomorrow.
