This Week's Interesting Music Releases - February 28th, 2012

New Multitudes brings together Jay Farrar (Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo), Will Johnson (Centro-matic, South San Gabriel), Anders Parker, and Yim Yames (My Morning Jacket) , who set lyrics from the notebooks of Woody Guthrie to music.

Anais Mitchell's Young Man in America, Dirty Three's Toward the Low Sun, Memoryhouse's The Slideshow Effect, Plants and Animals' The End of That, and my personal favorite release of the week School of Seven Bells' GHOSTORY are the other new albums I have heard and can strongly recommend.

The Cranberries' Roses is the band's first studio album on over 10 years.

Two remastered editions of Pink Floyd's The Wall are the key reissues, Experience Version (with two CDs of bonus material) and Immersion Box Set (a 7-disc box set with six CDs and a DVD).
