This Week's Interesting Music Releases - September 25, 2012
A 25th anniversary edition of R.E.M.'s Document contains the remastered album along with a second CD containing an unreleased 1987 concert.
Another worthwhile reissue is Woody Guthrie's The Complete Government Recordings, a 7-CD box set.
My personal favorite new releases are Dum Dum Girls' End of Daze EP, Jason Collett's Reckon, Murder By Death's Bitter Drink Bitter Moon, and Sera Cahoone's Deer Creek Canyon
Yoko Ono, Kim Gordon, and Thurston Moore collaborate for the aptly titled album YOKOKIMTHURSTON.
Also out this week is Mumford and Sons' Babel
If you have wee kids, Lullaby Renditions of Prince might be an interesting choice for bedtime.
