This Week's Interesting Music Releases - August 27, 2013
Two archival releases of rarities and unreleased material are the new music highlights this week, Belle and Sebastian's The Third Eye Centre and Bob Dylan's The Bootleg Series, Vol. 10 - Another Self Portrait (1969-1971).
Black Joe Lewis's Electric Slave, Dent May's Warm Blanket, The Dodos' Carrier, Flaamingos' self-titled album, and Lumerians' The High Frontier are all albums I have heard and can recommend.
Also released this week is an album of music by Jason Molina's high school punk band, Spineriders' Hello Future Tinglies.
Box sets include The Beach Boys' 6-CD Made In California and Sly and the Family Stone's 5-disc Higher!.
