This Week's Interesting Music Releases - February 4, 2014
Marissa Nadler's July and Nicole Atkins' Slow Phaser are fantastic new albums by two of my favorite singer-songwriters.
Broken Bells's After the Disco, Xiu Xiu's Angel Guts: Red Classroom, and the compilation This is the Town: A Tribute to Nilsson (Volume 1) are also highly recommended.
Of special note to literature fans is Leyla McCalla's Vari-Colored Songs: A Tribute to Langston Hughes.
Reissues include vinyl editions of Four Depeche Mode albums, Black Celebration, Music for the Masses, Some Great Reward, and Songs of Faith and Devotion.
