This Week's Interesting Music Releases - July 17, 2015

Jason Isbell

Jason Isbell's Something More Than Free is another strong release from the southern singer-songwriter.

Other releases I can recommend include The Bird and the Bee's Recreational Love, Ratatat's Magnifique, and Samantha Crain's Under Branch & Thorn & Tree

Iron and Wine & Ben Bridwell's covers album Sing Into My Mouth and Tame Impala's Currents are also out this week.

Archival releases include vinyl reissues of the Cocteau Twins' The Pink Opaque and Tiny Dynamine / Echoes In A Shallow Bay and the 4-CD box set Miles Davis At Newport 1955-1975: The Bootleg Series Vol. 4.

What new releases are you picking up this week? What can you recommend? Have I left anything noteworthy off the list?
