This Week's Interesting Music Releases - February 26, 2016
Five David Bowie vinyl reissues (Aladdin Sane, David Bowie AKA Space Oddity, The Man Who Sold the World, Hunky Dory, PinUps, and The Rise and Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars) and the 4-LP box set Bowie At The Beeb: The Best Of The BBC Radio Sessions '68-'72 are the highlights of this week's music releases.
Four Sonic Youth releases (The Diamond Sea, Dirty, Goo, and Washing Machine) have also been reissued on vinyl.
New albums I can recommend this week include the compilation God Don't Never Change: The Songs Of Blind Willie Johnson (which contains contributions from Tom Waits, Lucinda Williams, and others), Mount Moriah's How to Dance, and Yuck's Stranger Things.
Julien Baker's Sprained Ankle, one of my favorite albums of 2015, is available on vinyl.
